ABOUT US
Welcome to Dodo Retreats
Luxury Holiday Rentals, Rooted in Family & Quality
Founded in 2023, Dodo Retreats began with a simple mission: to make private, high-end villa stays in paradise accessible without compromising on quality or style.
What started as a single passion project in 2023 has quickly grown into a curated collection of exceptional holiday villas across the north of Mauritius. Today, in addition to hosting travellers from all over the world, we partner with property owners to provide full-service holiday rental management—bringing the same dedication, care, and high standards to every home in our portfolio.
Our Core Values
Everything we do is guided by a commitment to genuine hospitality, local support, and total peace of mind for our guests and partners.
Honesty & Transparency
We know that booking a holiday is about buying into a dream—and we believe the reality should match the vision. What you see in our photos and descriptions is exactly what you will experience when you step through the door. No hidden surprises, just total transparency.
Above-Standard Service
From seamless check-ins to personalized local recommendations, we go above and beyond the standard rental experience. Every detail of your stay is thoughtfully looked after so you can focus entirely on relaxing.
Empowering Local Talent
Mauritius is our home, and we believe in giving back to the community that makes it so special. We proudly employ and empower a local team, ensuring our guests experience genuine Mauritian warmth while supporting local livelihoods.
Creating Lifetime Memories
Our greatest reward is welcoming back returning guests year after year. We craft each stay with care, striving to build lasting relationships and unforgettable holiday memories.
